World TB Day, March 24, 2016, Matany Hospital, Karamoja (Uganda) – Patients, doctors and nurses tell their personal fight against tuberculosis
On occasion of World TB Day on 24 March, the World Health Organization (WHO) has called on countries and partners to “unite to end tuberculosis”. Doctors with Africa Cuamm gladly accepts the challenge, and will continue to be among those working in the front line to end tuberculosis in Africa by 2030.
Eighty percent of deaths from diabetes take place in mid- to lower-income countries. These include Angola and Mozambique, where Doctors with Africa CUAMM is working hard to meet emerging health care needs.
