It views health as critical to sustainable development and features articles on our work in the field and good practices learned as well as commentary by international experts.

Tanzania: an appeal in The Lancet on behalf of mothers and children

A letter from Doctors with Africa CUAMM was recently published in The Lancet. A public health appeal calling for policies that can bring about better outcomes for mothers and children, it aimed to focus attention on the issue of maternal mortality in Tanzania, a country where – paradoxically – an excess of rural delivery sites lowers the quality of the health care services provided.
